About Us
Shana Nicole Bridal & Image LLC was established in January of 2003 after some careful thought to my current career and the emotional reward it was lacking. When planning my business I knew that there were many things that I was good at and I had a lot of experience in many different areas. I wanted to find that one thing that I could enjoy and would utilize all my skills. I did not have to look very far to find my niche.

I had provided services for over 35 weddings including hairstyles, make-up, singing, personal attending and decorating. I also wanted something that would showcase my mother's hard work and give something back to her for the many things she did for me. It is hard to find a job that is as emotionally and professionally rewarding as being a bridal consultant. That is when I decided to create my Bridal & Image Consulting Firm.

Many mothers are creatively involved in their daughter’s weddings. But it was not until I planned my own wedding did I realize my mother had a special gift. Not a stitch was out of place or a detail left out. She truly put blood, sweat and tears into making my vision of a fairy tale wedding come true.

With mothers taking care of the details for the big day it is hard for them to be there sharing every moment with their daughters or sons. I know the one thing that my mother wanted was to be there when I put on my dress. She missed this precious moment because she was making the final touches on reception hall decorations. I know how devastated she was. I do not want this to happen to other brides and their mothers so this became my ultimate mission.

In the creation of my business I partnered with my mother and her elegant creations to ad a special touch to every wedding. She made custom card boxes, quilled invitations, handmade ring bearer pillows and other accessories. This was an opportunity for her to showcase her talents and to really shine while I helped her in the marketing process. My business was devoted to her until she fell ill to cancer in January of 2004 and eventually succumbed to it on June 5th, 2004. I am glad I had the chance to develop my business and have her as a partner when I did as it made us extremely close. I saw the best of my mother in the months just prior to her being diagnosed and how happy she was to be working with me.

In conclusion, this web site and business is dedicated in my mother's spirit. I can only hope that when I make your wedding dreams come true you will see hints of my mother's character come out in my work. Then you will know that you are not just another client.
